Internship pportfolio
This summer I interned at Genesis Marketing in Spokane Washington. It is an advertising agency with numerous clients. I learned how to run social media pages for small businesses. Over the course of three months I worked with five different clients and stayed up to date on all of their social media posts.
I have inserted three of the posts that I made for MyEllensburg to show the content of my posts. I also wrote all of the captions as well.
My favorite client was MyEllensburg. This client aims to show the beauty of Ellensburg and encourage others to experience it for themselves. I made daily posts for three months to keep the audience engaged.
MyEllensburg currently has 2,924 followers on Instagram. I was in charge of communicating with the client to make sure that posts were approved and got scheduled on time. This was my first time doing work outside of school for real clients. I learned about the importance of communication and time management while creating posts for all of their accounts.
